Terrific massacre of eight people in an armed attack on a Mexican beer warehouse

A tragic event took place in Huitzilac, Mexico, when a shootout broke out in a beer warehouse, killing eight people. The scene, captured by surveillance cameras, shows the gunmen opening fire at point-blank range. The assailants fled after about 17 seconds of gunfire. Half of the victims died on the spot, the others succumbing to their injuries in hospital. Three wounded people were also taken to hospital. No arrests have yet been reported. This incident follows a series of violent incidents, including the murder of the head of a local criminal organization. With 371 homicides recorded in the first quarter of 2024 alone, violence continues to plague the state of Morelos.
