An entire building on fire in Dubai

A fire broke out at around 9.30pm in the Marina Pinnacle, a 67-storey skyscraper in Dubai Marina. The building houses 764 apartments and around 3,820 people. The flames quickly engulfed the entire facade, visible for several kilometers. It took Civil Defense teams six hours to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, all residents were evacuated without injury, according to the Dubai Media Office. The origin of the fire is not yet known, but the damage appears to be considerable.
