Mexico: Influencer Shot and Killed During a Live Broadcast in Culiacán

Mexican influencer César Gastelum, who had more than 500,000 followers on TikTok, was shot and killed Tuesday evening in Culiacán, in the state of Sinaloa, while doing a live challenge dressed as a delivery driver with two friends. A motorcycle pulled up alongside him, and one of the riders shot him in the head. The incident occurred near the state prosecutor’s office headquarters.
