A big scare on Alpe d'Huez, where rider Einer Rubio crashed into the rear window of a team car. The car had slammed on the brakes because of a spectator on the road, and the Colombian rider was unable to avoid it. The result: a deep cut on his face and about twenty stitches. The Tour is over for him.
