In Grand Rapids, Michigan, a police officer suffered a broken leg after encountering violent resistance during a traffic stop. The passenger, who was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt, refused to get out of the vehicle and braced himself with all his strength against the ceiling and floor. During the forced removal, the impact caused the officer’s leg to fracture.
