On June 7, 2026, at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India, violent gusts of wind reaching 101 km/h swept across the tarmac and carried away ground equipment. Ground crew ran to try to hold it back, but it was too late: the equipment struck three parked Air India Airbus A320s. The three aircraft were grounded for inspection. No injuries were reported.
