American highway turned into giant parking lot: massive pileup in the snow

In the United States, a snowstorm caused a massive pileup on Interstate 196 in Michigan. Nearly 100 vehicles collided, including about 40 trucks. With snow, wind, and zero visibility, it was impossible to brake in time. Miraculously, there were only minor injuries and no fatalities. It took emergency responders hours to clear the road.
