Construction structure collapses on car in Kuala Lumpur

A metal structure at a railway construction site collapsed on the Kuala Lumpur ring road, just past the Gombak toll plaza. A Suzuki Swift passing by at the same time was hit head-on, but the 44-year-old driver escaped unhurt. According to initial reports, a piece of lifting equipment hit a temporary cover, causing the entire structure to fall. The authorities then indicated that the company did not have a valid permit for the work. The work has been stopped and an investigation is underway.
