Fugitive rams van into police, injuring several officers (Poitiers)

In Poitiers, a van caused panic at around 7pm after driving the wrong way and refusing to comply. When police officers attempted to control the vehicle, it sped off, almost knocking down an officer. A chase ensued, with speeds exceeding 100 km/h. The driver plows into a police officer, collides with a silk-screened car and causes several minor injuries. The van finally broke down. The passenger tried to flee, but the driver resisted. Both were arrested, under the influence of alcohol, and placed in police custody for multiple offences.
