Rotterdam teacher targeted by egg in student prank

In Rotterdam, Thorbeckeschool is in the news with a widely circulated "prank" video. It shows a teacher receiving an egg thrown at him in the middle of class. Officially, this kind of prank is part of the school's end-of-year traditions, but this time the footage is getting a lot of airplay, and risks embarrassing the school. The context doesn't help: in the Netherlands, teacher shortages are already a major problem, with around 7,700 vacancies in primary schools and 3,800 in secondary schools.
