A truck swept away by a landslide on a road in Tibet

On the Bingcha-Cha road towards Tibet, a tank-lorry is driving along the edge of a precipice when, suddenly, the rock face collapses onto the roadway. The lorry is hit head-on. The trailer plummets into the void, while the cab remains upright. The on-board camera caught the whole thing on film. The driver escaped unhurt, a miracle considering the images. Since the accident on the 29th, the road has been closed to traffic in the area affected by the landslide.
