On Thursday evening, the superyacht Sea Lady II caught fire in the Vieux Port of Saint-Tropez. The 41-meter vessel, valued at around 2.75 million euros, was moored when the flames spread, causing enormous black smoke visible in the town. Two crew members suffered minor smoke inhalation injuries, but were not hospitalized. Firefighters brought the blaze under control around midnight. The boat was rented on charter for up to €80,000 a week. The cause remains unknown, and an investigation is underway.
