Fan falls 6 meters from bleachers (Warning - shocking)

A Pirates fan fell from the bleachers at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, falling about 20 feet directly onto the field during the seventh inning. It happened just after an Andrew McCutchen RBI double. Medical personnel were quick to intervene, placing him on a spine board and evacuating him by stretcher. The game was interrupted for 10 minutes. Several players prayed on their knees during the operation. McCutchen held his cross as he watched. The victim was taken to Allegheny Hospital. No further information was given.
