Children, including a 10-year-old, involved in a shooting over a pair of shoes in Memphis

A surveillance camera captured a violent scene in the middle of the day on the streets of North Memphis. A child aged around 10 was in the middle of the shooting. Last Friday, on Yale Road, a group of five people, including the child, tried to steal a pair of shoes from a man. When he refused, they tried to hit him. The victim took refuge in a convenience store. As the group exited, an individual in a car opened fire. The suspects hid behind another vehicle before returning fire, chasing the car as they shot.
