A Chinese J-15 fighter jet crashes during training

A Chinese J-15 Flying Shark fighter jet crashed yesterday during a training flight near Jialai Town, Hainan province. The pilot ejected in time and was unhurt. The impact with the ground caused an impressive explosion. The J-15, used on Chinese aircraft carriers, is a copy of the Russian Sukhoi Su-33. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred: in 2018, another J-15 crashed, but the pilot did not survive. The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
