Panagiotis Stathis, 54, was gunned down mafia-style as he parked outside his office in Athens. The scooter-riding killer calmly fired more than 20 bullets before driving off unhurriedly. The murder is believed to be linked to a dispute over land on the island of Mykonos, involving Stathis and a local businessman, with possible links to the Greek mafia. The real estate dispute revolved around a proposed luxury hotel complex. Four people linked to the mafia have been arrested and an investigation is underway.
