On the morning of November 29, 2023, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, a garbage truck arrived to empty a waste container. Unexpectedly, a homeless man was sleeping among the cardboard boxes inside the container. When the container was emptied into the truck, the homeless man's scream alerted the driver, who acted quickly to avoid injuring him. Firefighters were called to the scene and managed to save the homeless man, pulling him from the waste compactor.
