A two-hour forced flight before this impressive landing in Munich

At Munich Airport in Germany, a Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 struck the runway with its tail during a delayed takeoff, before managing to get back into the air with difficulty. The crew circled for two hours to dump fuel, then made an emergency landing during which several tires on the left landing gear burst, sending up thick smoke. All passengers emerged unharmed.
