In Argentina, in the municipality of Esteban Echeverría south of Buenos Aires, a pool party turned chaotic when police raided a villa rented for the occasion. Officers from the Lomas de Zamora GAD were targeting a gang specializing in car theft. A suspect opened fire from upstairs before jumping out a window. Hit by several bullets, he died at the scene. Two accomplices were arrested.
