United States: Student hits anti-deportation protester and flees the scene

In the United States, a student driving a Trump SUV struck a protester who was demonstrating against immigrant deportations in front of Fremont High School in Nebraska. She had positioned herself in front of the vehicle to block it. The driver accelerated, hit her and threw her to the ground, then fled. The victim, injured but conscious, is recovering at home. The police are investigating a hit-and-run.
