A 42-year-old software engineer who was completely drunk lost control of his Skoda in Bengaluru, India. He crashed through the median strip before ending up in the wall of the Barbeque Nation restaurant in Indiranagar. The airbags saved him, and he escaped without a scratch. A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, and pedestrians narrowly avoided being hit. It was truly a close call.
