In West Virginia, a truck driver crashed into the safety barrier during a snowstorm. The trailer remained on the bridge, but the cab was suspended 30 meters above the void. The man was trapped for five hours before a fireman abseiled down to put him in a harness. He was then brought back up using a ladder. Miraculously, he escaped unharmed.
