Last Friday, a Russian intercontinental ballistic missile suffered a catastrophic failure during a test from the Yasny base. After only a few seconds of flight, the missile began to spin before bursting into flames and exploding in mid-air. Specialists suspect the RS-28 Sarmat, the famous Russian "super-rocket" whose tests regularly turn into fiascoes. Last year, an example even destroyed its own silo. Moscow remains silent, but this latest failure raises questions about the reliability of Russia's nuclear arsenal.
