Tragedy at Matador Fighter Challenge: fighter Isaac Johnson dies after his fight in Chicago

Isaac Johnson, a 31-year-old MMA fighter, died of injuries sustained during his match in Chicago. The event took place on Friday November 21 at Cicero Stadium during the Matador Fighter Challenge. During the third and final round against Mario Aleksandrovski, Johnson collapsed after sustaining injuries. An ambulance was called at 8:38pm to take the "wounded fighter" to hospital. He died at 12:01 a.m. at Loyola University Medical Center. This was his very first Thai boxing match.
