Greek coastguards repeatedly ram a migrant boat to force them to return to Turkey

A video shot near Samos (Turkish coast) shows a Greek coastguard boat repeatedly colliding with a boat carrying migrants. The images, shared online by Visegrád 24 and picked up by refugee rights observers, clearly show the successive collisions. Eventually, the boat is pushed back towards Turkish waters. According to the commentary accompanying the footage, the aim was to prevent these people from reaching Greece. The images raise questions about the way in which these operations are carried out in the area.
