Bus with no brakes causes massive pile-up in Brazil

A bus travelling on Raposo Tavares, near Cotia in São Paulo, ended up colliding with at least fifteen vehicles after losing its brakes. The accident occurred at around 7.40 a.m., in an access zone where the driver was unable to slow down. The bus, operating on route 809-A between Jardim D'Abril and Pinheiros, crashed into the gate of a condominium. Ten people were injured, two of them seriously. The images show a long line of affected cars and the rapid intervention of the emergency services.
