Private helicopter crashes in Dagestan

A private helicopter crashed in Dagestan, southern Russia, with seven people on board. Five died, four on the spot, and three were taken to hospital. One of them later died. Two injured people are still being monitored: one is in critical condition, the other more stable. The Ka-226 caught fire on impact and was destroyed. Local authorities, including the regional chief, confirm that an in-flight engine fire is being investigated.
