A witness in Lille filmed a refusal to yield that went horribly wrong. A driver hit a 19-year-old student crossing the road, killing him. The driver did not stop after the impact and continued to flee as police pursued him. The driver is suspected of having consumed nitrous oxide before getting behind the wheel. He was eventually apprehended by the police and taken into custody. The victim was due to celebrate his 20th birthday shortly.
