In Upland, California, a motorcycle chase ended in a violent accident on the highway. The driver, suspected of killing a sheriff's deputy, was attempting to flee at very high speed. It all began in Rancho Cucamonga during a domestic violence call involving a man with a gun. As soon as officers arrived, gunfire erupted. Deputy Andrew Nunez was shot in the head, rushed to hospital and later pronounced dead. The fugitive ended up on the ground, seriously wounded.
