In the Nandlalpura district of Indore, India, a group of around 24 transgender people attempted to commit collective suicide by drinking a floor cleaner. According to the police, the incident took place in a house where several of them were staying. Emergency services were quickly called and all those involved were taken to Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital. Deputy Commissioner Anand Kaladgi confirmed that they were now in a stable condition and receiving medical treatment.
