elephant attacks canoe tourists in Botswana

A group of tourists were taking a mokoro ride in Botswana's Okavango region. All was quiet until they came too close to a herd of elephants with their calves. The dominant female charged, knocking the canoes over like toys. Phones and cameras ended up in the water as panicked passengers tried to get back in. One woman was grabbed by the trunk, held underwater and violently pushed away. She escaped alive, without serious injury. The others were only frightened.
