A low-cost drone was used by the Ukrainian army to shoot down a Russian Mi-8 helicopter. The scene took place on the 29th of last month near Kotliarivka, in eastern Ukraine. The aircraft was flying at low altitude when it was targeted. The images come directly from the drone's camera, confirming the action. The difference in cost between the military helicopter and the device used to destroy it is enormous, but the result is there - the Mi-8 is down.
