Nepal bans Youtube, young people take to the streets and overthrow the government

The country is shaken by massive protests led by Generation Z. These protests began after the government banned several social networks (Facebook, X, YouTube...), a decision that triggered strong reactions among young people. The rallies turned violent, with clashes with police, dozens of deaths and hundreds of injuries, and the burning of official buildings such as parliament and the prime minister's residence. Faced with this pressure, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli resigned, and the ban on platforms was lifted. The state of alert remains, with a very tense political climate.
