An assailant was neutralized by police after a knife attack in Marseille

A knife attack took place in Marseille's 1st arrondissement. Four people were injured before the attacker was neutralized by a bullet. The man, Abdelkader D., a 35-year-old Tunisian already known to TAJ, came out of a kebab shop and stabbed three people. He then headed for the Saint-Charles train station, turned around and hit a fourth victim, shouting "Allah Akbar". Police officers used a Taser, without success, and then opened fire. The assailant was seriously injured and remains in critical condition.
