A fire-fighting helicopter crashed into a pond at Rosporden on Sunday. The aircraft, nicknamed Morane 29, was on a mission to fill its water tank. It flew too low and struck the surface before tipping into the water, as witnesses looked on. On board were a pilot and a fire officer. Both managed to swim to shore. They are uninjured but are being monitored for psychological support.
