Huge pile-up on a Barcelona street

In Barcelona, a collision between two vans triggered a major chain reaction. Several other vans slammed into each other, with no time to brake. The result: a veritable pile of metal sheets, with even a motorcycle in pieces on the sidewalk. The precise causes are not known, but speed and inattention appear to be involved. The images show only vehicles, with no human casualties as yet. On this stretch of street, the brake was obviously optional.
