Man deliberately hits two police horses

In Den Bosch (Netherlands), a 50-year-old man deliberately drove his van into two police horses in the city center. The officers wanted to check his vehicle, but instead of stopping, he accelerated. One officer was thrown from his horse, the other remained in the saddle. Both are physically okay, but the horses were injured and treated by a vet. The driver fled the scene before being arrested. He is suspected of attempted murder, drink-driving and hit-and-run.
