In South Los Angeles on Saturday night, at least seven businesses were looted after two urban rodeos. The first occurred around 2 a.m. in Bellflower, at the intersection of Artesia Blvd and Woodruff Ave. An Arco station, a beauty store and a garage were broken into. Shelves emptied, vending machines destroyed, windows blown out. A second rally took place in Lakewood at the same time. Four stores in a shopping mall were robbed, including a Metro by T-Mobile, where dozens of people left with equipment valued at several thousand dollars. No arrests have yet been made.
