A policeman tases a wheelchair-bound senior citizen who refuses to drop a knife

A 93-year-old wheelchair-bound leg amputee was pepper-sprayed, clubbed and tased at his care home in St Leonards-on-Sea. He was holding a small canteen knife after touching an employee. Caregivers tried to calm him down for 30 minutes before calling the police. The officers intervened without talking to the staff, and acted in less than 1 minute 30. The court ruled that the violence was unjustified.
