Driver plows into crowd after fight

Mohammed Alam, 25, crashed his Volkswagen Golf into a crowd of students after provoking a massive brawl outside a Nottingham nightclub on October 7, 2023. The incident occurred near the Rock City nightclub on Talbot Street, after a passer-by knocked on the roof of his car to warn him of his dangerous driving. An altercation broke out, involving Alam, his brother Parvaz, and a third individual. After the fight, Alam drove his car onto the sidewalk, seriously injuring a student. The student had to undergo surgery. Alam was sentenced to two years and ten months in prison.
