Shock: Daylight machete attack by bikers in a London shopping street

London was the scene of a terrifying attack in the middle of the day. Two motorcyclists violently attacked a store door with a machete on London Road in Thornton Heath. Recorded by a witness, the video shows one of them striking the metal door three times with the machete before trying in vain to force it open. A third person tried to get out of the shop, slightly injuring his leg. The assailants, still unidentified, were able to escape before the police intervened. London's Metropolitan Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for the public's cooperation in tracing the suspects.
