A migrant wearing a Palestinian flag and a keffiyeh tried to blow up a synagogue in La Grande-Motte (France)

A 33-year-old Algerian man, a legal migrant, was arrested in Nîmes after committing an attack on the Grande-Motte synagogue. Wounded during the intervention, he was neutralized by bullets after firing at the police. Identified by video surveillance footage, he was carrying a Palestinian flag. Two members of his entourage were also taken into custody. The PNAT has opened an investigation for attempted murder in connection with a terrorist enterprise. Investigations are continuing.
