A 16-year-old Jewish teenager was the target of an anti-Semitic attack in broad daylight in North London. On his way to the synagogue, dressed in traditional Jewish clothing, the young man was chased by three men, one of whom threw stones at him. This area of London, home to Europe's largest population of Hasidic Jews, is frequently the scene of anti-Semitic attacks. The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera and is now being investigated by the Metropolitan Police. No arrests have yet been made. In addition to this attack, a series of hate crimes have been reported in the region in recent months. The president of Shomrim, the neighborhood watch organization, said that these attacks aimed at frightening and harming the Jewish community have increased in intensity since the October 7 attacks in Israel.
