An elderly man showed great bravery when he stood up to two men trying to steal his phone at a bus stop on High Street, East Ham, London. The elderly man quickly detected the danger when one of the men, wearing a 'Brooklyn' jacket, stepped in front of him as a distraction. The accomplice tried to reach into the victim's pockets, but the alert man turned his back in time to thwart the robbery. Raising an angry fist, he routed the pickpocket, who dared not insist.
