Father and son attack stranger with machete and baseball bat after arguing with him

In a Sainsbury's supermarket, a father and son assaulted a man with a machete and baseball bat following an argument. Alfred Chambers, 45, and his son Alfie, 23, were each sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison for grievous bodily harm. The attack, described by the judge as cowardly and premeditated, could have been fatal. The assailants were arrested after surrendering to the police.
