Israel recently discovered the largest tunnel ever found, built under Gaza by the brother of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. The tunnel, over 4 km long and wide enough for cars to pass through, was used in the attacks on October 7, when 1,200 people were killed. A spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces showed journalists the tunnel, which is wide enough for a car to pass through. It extends up to 400 meters beyond the Erez border (in Iraq), and enabled Hamas troops to penetrate enemy soil undetected.
