He violently and gratuitously assaults a transgender man on a bus

The FBI is actively seeking an African-American man, estimated to be around 30 years old, for a brutal assault on a transgender person on a St. Louis city bus. The attack, which lasted one minute, began on a MetroBus at the intersection of Chippewa Street and Grand Boulevard at around 3:30pm on April 13. The victim was beaten and threatened with a firearm. A surveillance video, released by the FBI, shows the violent assault beginning with a slap, followed by punches. The assailant pulled a firearm from a tote bag. The incident continued until the bus stopped at a red light, at which point the assailant and a passenger disembarked. The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the assailant.
