The families of two schoolchildren arrested in St. Petersburg for extinguishing the Eternal Flame will be expelled from the Russian Federation. The Krasnoselsky court found that their parents, foreign citizens not registered with the migration authorities, had violated migration control laws. They have been sentenced to fines and forced administrative expulsion. This decision follows the incident in which an 11-year-old child threw a snowball at the flame, in the presence of other children in his family.
