Recently in Barcelona, on Calle Bernat Bransi, an attempted robbery targeted an elderly man walking his dog. The thieves fooled him by pretending that cash had been thrown at him from a balcony. Taking advantage of his confusion, they stole his CaixaBank card. It seems that the man was targeted after using an ATM, just 200 meters away. Fortunately, a passer-by noticed the subterfuge and recovered the old man's card.
