Shooting in Chicago

Sunday morning in Chicago, a shooting broke out in the River North neighborhood, injuring eight people. The incident took place near West Erie and North Orleans streets around 2:30 a.m., just hours before the start of the Chicago Marathon. The confrontation was sparked by a physical altercation near Blum Restaurant and Bar. Four of the victims are in critical condition, including a man shot in the head and a woman with a stomach wound.
